What is the Well Made Here logo?

Starting in the spring of 2019, the Well Made Here logo will begin to appear in the leading building material centres to encourage the purchase of products made right here in Canada.

Well Made Here is a non‑profit organization collectively owned by the major banners such as Lowe’s, Rona, ACE, Home Hardware and TimberMart, as well as several professional associations. With the rise of imported products on store shelves, a similar issue to that encountered by Canadian dairy producers that led to the recent updating of the 100% Canadian milk cow label, this program aims at better preparing consumers when they shop so that they can accurately identify products made in Canada.

Garaga is proud to take part in the Well Made Here program. This opportunity allows us to stand out from imported products or those with little added value by including the logo on our building material literature and promotional material. We are extremely pleased to have become certified and will proudly use the Well Made Here logo!
